Trans Pride Festival 2026: 20 years of community, and we're proud to stand with it

On May 2 and 3, 2026, the Trans Pride Festival returns for its 20th edition at the Centre des mémoires montréalaises (MEM), just steps from Place des Arts. The event is organized by Aide aux Trans du Québec (ATQ), which is also marking its 45th anniversary this year.

Pharmacie A. Ben Abdennabi & E. Thibaudeau inc. is proud to be among the sponsors of this edition.

A space for connection, visibility, and celebration

Created in 2004 and led by ATQ since 2005, the Trans Pride Festival is one of the longest-running trans events in Quebec. It brings together trans, non-binary, and questioning people, their loved ones, and allies who want to take part in the celebration of gender diversity.

Two decades of honouring past struggles, building connections, sharing community resources, and above all, creating a space where everyone can be fully themselves.

An important moment, in a context that is no less so

This 20th edition carries a particular weight. ATQ reminds us that trans and non-binary people are facing growing pressures, here and across North America, and that moments of gathering matter more than ever.

As a pharmacy rooted in our community and committed to 2SLGBTQIA+ people, we believe health isn't only about prescriptions and clinical services. It's also about safe spaces, recognition, and being able to exist without having to justify yourself. That's why we stand with the festival.

A programming worth discovering

The 2026 programming, shaped by the concept of sankofa, is rich, diverse, and deeply rooted in local trans culture. Rather than summarizing its moments, we invite you to discover it directly on ATQ's website, which will do it far better justice than we could.
