Beginning July or August 2026, text messages sent to our phone number are also protected and compliant with applicable privacy laws, transmitted through a secure service hosted in Quebec.

2.4 Disclosure of information

Health information is disclosed to third parties only in cases provided for by law or with your explicit consent, including:

  • Physician signatory of a collective prescription as part of clinical follow-up
  • Treating physician or other healthcare professional involved in your care
  • Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec or private insurer for billing purposes
  • Partner therapeutic support programs (for example, injectable medication administration programs), with your written or explicit verbal consent
  • Any other situation provided for by law and legally authorized

No disclosure is made for commercial, advertising, or non-care-related purposes.

2.5 Retention

Health information is retained in accordance with the requirements in force under the Regulation respecting the keeping of records, books and registers by a pharmacist and other applicable laws.

2.6 Security

The pharmacy applies technical and organizational measures to protect your information against loss, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include two-factor authentication, encryption of clinical communications, ongoing staff training on confidentiality, and the annual signing of a confidentiality undertaking by each team member.

2.7 Use of technology providers

The pharmacy uses technology platforms for record-keeping, clinical communications, and appointment scheduling. These providers are selected based on their compliance with applicable laws and are subject to contractual agreements governing the protection of information. Clinical data is hosted in Quebec or Canada.
