HIV Self-Test: Know Your Status, Confidentially.

HIV rapid oral Self-Testing
HIV Self-Testing: Know Your Status, On Your Own Terms
An HIV self-test allows you to know your status in an environment where you feel comfortable and safe, with no blood drawn, without a medical appointment and without delays. It is an essential public health tool: it increases accessibility, preserves confidentiality, and gives each person control over their own health.
By encouraging earlier testing, the self-test enables faster access to care, treatment (U=U) and prevention (PrEP), helping to break the chain of transmission.
Please note: the self-test detects HIV only, and not other sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs).
The OraQuick™ Oral HIV Self-Test
We offer the OraQuick™ oral HIV self-test, the first oral swab self-test approved by Health Canada. A simple swab along the gums, a cartridge, a result in 20 minutes. No blood draw required.
Available directly at the counter for $40.
Our Support
Our role goes beyond the sale. At the time of purchase, a member of our team will confidentially walk you through how the test works and make sure you feel comfortable with the process. We remain available to answer your questions before, during or after the test. A consultation is also available by appointment for anyone who wants to do the test accompanied by one of our professionals.
Not to be confused with our rapid HIV testing service, where a healthcare professional performs the test and interprets the result on the spot.

Our Commitment to Universal Access
While the test is currently priced at $40, our pharmacy is actively engaged with public health authorities to advocate for the free distribution and broader availability of HIV self-tests in pharmacies across Québec. We believe this prevention tool should be accessible to everyone, without financial barriers.
